A word from our committee
Thank you for taking the time to consider sponsoring our Youth Football Team, Worting FC. We are a newly formed club that has been formed to support the local community in offering footballing opportunities to boys and girls in the area.

We will be playing in two local U11 leagues, and currently have a total of 22 players playing in two leagues over the Hampshire/Surrey area, against a minimum of 20 teams over the course of the season.

Our future plans are to grow the club with multiple age groups, including disability and all girls teams. This growth will be rapid over the coming years/seasons, due to the club's close connection to the Hampshire FA and the Football Association, after the club recently gained FA Charter Standard Status.

"The FA Charter Standard accreditation is awarded to clubs and leagues rigorously adjudged to be well-run and sustainable – and which prioritise child protection, quality coaching and implementation of the Respect programme".

We are a player focused club - this means the children have a voice in how this club is run, the club is for them, to play, have fun and learn the game in a positive environment, with the freedom their childhood deserves

. • We are an ‘open to all’ club which means we do not select new joiners on ability.

• We provide a safe and fun environment for all of our players.

• We teach football skills, as well as respect for ourselves, our team mates, coaches, opponents and referees alike.

• Our Club’s success will be measured by how we develop players, how we play the game and how we conduct ourselves - more than by games and trophies won, which will take care of themselves.

What is most important is our club philosophy to give the interests of each child equal value irrespective of their football skills, to promote self-esteem, confidence and the development of social skills including loyalty and consideration for others.

Funds received will be used to help provide equipment, football kit, training kit, pitch hire, maintenance fees, insurance and coach education through the FA. The funds will also be used to support families of youth players who are restricted by family income, whom otherwise would not play.

We will be thankful for any financial support to our club.
